Samuel Owusu Ansah is a meteorologist at the Ghana Meteorological Agency and a PhD researcher in Climate Science and Meteorology at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. His research focuses on climate variability, extreme precipitation, flood risk assessment, hydrological modeling, and climate resilience in West Africa, particularly the White Volta Basin. 

He specializes in hydro-meteorological analysis, flood susceptibility mapping, hydraulic modeling, and climate data integration using geospatial and statistical methods, including HEC-RAS, satellite rainfall products, and extreme climate indices. He is passionate about climate services, nature-based solutions, and capacity building to enhance early warning systems and disaster risk reduction in Ghana and beyond.
